LADIES AND MENS NIGHTS IN APRIL:

The CrossFit Open is a worldwide competition, where every CrossFitter in the world completes the same workouts over the same weekends! But at Phalanx CrossFit, the Open isn't just about seeing how high we can score on the leaderboard. It's about:

  • testing ourselves and seeing how far we’ve come in the past year
  • pushing through barriers and doing things we didn’t think we were capable of
  • bringing our community together to celebrate all the hard work we put in day in and day out

This year Phalanx will have THREE Open teams, led by Coach Chris, Coach Jesse, and Coach Shane! All current members will be drafted to a team on Friday, Feb. 4th, and captains will be contacting team members to strategize how you can work together to earn the most points this year! 

Saturday, February 5th

  • 30 minute mobility session begins at 11:30, following the group class WOD
  • Refreshments and Q&A with Dr. Lucas to follow
  • Learn more about how your Phalanx coaches and your physical therapist can work together to keep you moving through pain! 

Saturday, February 19th

  • Warmup begins at 10am 
  • Lifting begins at 10:30am
  • Test your Clean and Jerk and Snatch in this Olympic Lifting-style competition

Barbells for Boobs

Join us for the classic "Grace" WOD - in costume! - as we celebrate Halloween in honor of one of our favorite causes - Breast Cancer Awareness! Sign up for heat times in FitHive and bring a $5 cash donation to name the winning Grace time! Bring a snack to share. 

November 5th

Men's Only Event - MUSCLE MEN

It's Guys Night at the gym! Come at 5:30pm to lift heavy things and have a men-only conversation with some of the coolest guys in town! Dinner will be provided. BYOB. **Please sign up so we know how much food to prepare.** (Come on over even if you can't make it at 5:30pm)

Murph

Join us for our annual Thanksgiving Murph as we gather after our holiday time-off to honor a hero with a fun and challenging memorial WOD. Heats will run from 10-noon. Bring a snack and stay to cheer on your friends.  

Phalanx FESTIVUS - Members only! 

Compete with your friends to determine who's the fittest Spartan in the Phalanx Community! 

This competition is designed for beginners to intermediate athletes with two registration categories: just started CrossFit or been working a while but not quite doing the L3 WODs on the board? Then this competition is for YOU! 

Competition will run Saturday, November 20th from 8:30am to 2:30pm.

All profits will be donated to The Phalanx Foundation in support of Operation Christmas Hope.

Fundamentals Class

If you know someone who would like to start CrossFit and needs basic familiarization with the movements we typically do, this is the class! 

  • Next cohort begins: Monday, 03/01, at 6:30pm. 
  • This cohort includes six total classes and is mandatory for all athletes who have never done CrossFit (or similar).

21-Day Challenge

Accepting 10 new men and women for a 21-day challenge to jump-start your health and fitness journey! 

  • Beginners Encouraged
  • Receive a meal-plan, individual goal-setting session, and weekly accountability to keep you on track!
  • Challenge begins 1/25. All applicants must interview by 1/15 to reserve a spot in the challenge.

Join Sandhills Ruck Club for the Manion WOD, honoring 1stLt Travis Manion (USMC) and all of our nation's heroes! You'll break a sweat, build character, and walk away with a Manion WOD tee!

    • 400 meter ruck/run and 29 back (object) squat

Weightlifting Clinic

Spend time working on your barbell techniqe. This clinic will focus on correcting bad habits that you may have developed over time.
